Awaken Rainbow Bay QLD

Lindy Lee, in collaboration with S&S Group and UAP has created a magnificent artwork that honors the southern Gold Coast. Positioned atop the Point Danger peninsula in Rainbow Bay, the artwork is an essential feature of the S&S Group’ ‘Awaken Residences’ building.

bluebottle has supplied high-quality Australian made luminaires, controls and consultancy services. We worked closely with S&S Group, Cottee Parker architects, Coolon Australia, FPOV and construction contractor McNab.

For the Awaken Project, bluebottle provided a range of services including:

1. Supplying the latest in locally manufactured lighting technology, from Coolon Architectural LED fixtures.

2. Pharos lighting Control was used providing the client with control of the lighting scenes and also scheduling.

3. bluebottle remote management system (BRMS) has also been used for this project giving bluebottle the ability to upload and schedule new and existing content remotely. BRMS also enables bluebottle the ability to run system checks and upgrade firmware without needing to attend site which offers ongoing cost saving’s to our customers.

4. Offering technical know-how and support, ensuring that the lighting design is not only artistically aligned with the project’s goals but also seamlessly integrated and operationally reliable.

Lighting, when used effectively, can transcend its traditional role and become a form of art in itself, capable of invoking deep emotions and contributing to the narrative or theme of an art installation. Through thoughtful collaboration, both entities could push the boundaries of conventional art exhibitions, offering the public an unparalleled, multi-sensory experience that resonates long after they’ve left the installation.
