bluebottle first delivered the main façade lighting for Federation Square a few years ago. Now, we’ve extended that iconic night-time glow—supplying, commissioning, and programming a new architectural lighting system that wraps around the rear of the building, illuminating The Ian Potter Centre: NGV and the car park façade.
The dynamic strip and spot lighting brings the entire building to life—responding to events, programming, and place. The result? A night-time identity for Fed Square that’s as considered as its daytime presence.
We’re thrilled to have worked with MAP Co, as well as our client Brolec Electrical, to help transform one of Melbourne’s most visited places—end to end.
Lighting tech by bluebottle, using: Color Kinetics, Philips Dynalite by Signify and a Pharos controller by Pharos Architectural Controls.
