bluebottle recently supplied and commissioned the festive lighting installation at Port Coogee Marina for the City of Cockburn, delivering an integrated architectural lighting solution using SGM Lighting luminaires. The project was designed to enhance the marina’s public realm during seasonal event programs, activating the waterfront environment and creating a welcoming experience for visitors and the local community.
Working closely with the City of Cockburn, bluebottle provided end-to-end support including equipment supply, system integration and commissioning. The installation features SGM i-1 Linear RGBW POI luminaires from SGM’s architectural range, selected for their ability to deliver precise linear grazing and washing effects across the marina’s landscape elements.
Given the coastal environment, marine-grade luminaires were specified for their durability, reliability and advanced thermal management, ensuring consistent performance in demanding outdoor conditions. The linear system allowed for even coverage, vibrant colour output and dynamic effects, complementing the unique character of the Port Coogee waterfront.
