bluebottle recently worked on Gangtey Lodge—a hotel perched 3,000m high above sea level in the idyllic Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. We supplied LED and control upgrades throughout this majestically placed hotel, with lighting design by The Flaming Beacon.
Given its remote location and the historically sensitive nature of the building and area, our client, The Flaming Beacon, took a considered approach which saw the removal of previously used halogen lighting—allowing enhancements to be energy efficient, while also honouring the old ambient feel which the previously-used lights had once provided.
