bluebottle continues to deliver a precinct-wide lighting control system for the landmark redevelopment of the Australian War Memorial. Following the Southern Entrance and Oculus, our work now extends across major new gallery spaces, including the Anzac Atrium and Anzac Hall.
These galleries house Large Technology Objects, from a Hornet aircraft to the bridge of HMAS Brisbane, requiring lighting that is both flexible and robust. We commissioned Signify Dynalite to provide a scalable backbone across the entire site, ensuring seamless integration between the Building Management System (BMS) and the new, high-performance gallery environments.
Gallery lighting plays a critical role here, with CAN RGBW and Ljusdesign spotlights, supplied by SLD, delivering precise, adaptable illumination suited to curatorial change.
To support evolving exhibitions, Casambi wireless technology allows fixtures to be repositioned without rewiring, while a Pharos Controller manages immersive timelines and AV synchronisation, ensuring each story is delivered with clarity, control and sustainably.
