State Library Victoria Gallery VIC

Fixture supply, control supply, system design, commissioning   // bluebottle

The early December 19 opening of the State Library of Victoria’s refurbished spaces included the unveiling of the Victoria Gallery and the new Velvet, Iron, Ashes exhibition.

To implement the lighting design by John Ford of Relume, we were pleased to supply lighting control products from Pharos, Dynalite, and eldoled and commission & programme the control system.

We recommend you get along, as the exhibition opens up a new way of seeing Victoria’s history and reveals as never before how our stories intersect. Find out how the armour of infamous bushranger Ned Kelly is connected to cricket’s celebrated Ashes Urn, how fairy floss is connected to Victoria’s Latrobe Valley electricity industry, and why the granddaughter of one of our prime ministers once wore a glittering velvet cloak that symbolised the Murray-Darling irrigation scheme.
