bluebottle’s team worked closely with client Anova Electrical Pty Ltd, builders Lendlease, lighting designers, Glowing Structures Fay Greenhalgh and of course all consulting engineers and many many others involved with the project.

Lighting control powered by Philips Dynalite as well as an array of feature coloured lighting controlled by a Pharos Architectural Controls Ltd LPCX seamlessly integrated together. The client now has the ability manage the entire venue including the “painted light” facade feature previously completed all from the cloud BRMS (Bluebottle remote management system)

We’ve transformed the Little Malop Street building to create the largest dedicated regional arts centre in Australia with a unique design that reflects Geelong’s history, culture and creativity. Funded by the Victorian Government, the Little Malop Street Redevelopment significantly expands the capacity of Geelong Arts Centre.

“Entertainment lovers will be dazzled by The Story House; a multi-format 550-seat theatre expanding to 850 in ‘live gig’ mode and The Open House; a 250-seat contemporary hybrid venue featuring a giant door connecting the space to Little Malop Street Plaza, as well as dynamic and colourful foyer and bar facilities alongside a range of event spaces, including alfresco dining at Tutti – Geelong Arts Centre’s dedicated dining space.”

:”Dedicated to delivering on a bold future for a clever and creative Geelong, the remarkable design brings together elements drawn from the history of the Geelong, the traditions of circus and theatre, and the strong and continuing First Nations culture and connection to Country.” ~ Geelong Arts Centre

Congratulations to all involved and a special thankyou to our team that we so very much appreciate getting these projects over the line from initial planning and project management all the way through to final handover and support.
